Based in Montreal, Canada, Luc Herrmann is an Irish-Swiss composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer who believes in music’s boundless potential. Proficient in acoustic instruments, such as the mandolin, banjo, and the guitar (both acoustic and electric), and well-versed in jazz, folk, post-rock, and orchestral, Luc's musical tastes and proficiencies span genres and time periods.

Forged in the meticulous jazz tradition at McGill University, studying under the world's most renowned musicians and composers, Luc has since released an album under his project The Luc Herrmann Group. This release was later dubbed the “revelation of the season” by CBC Radio-Canada, among other accolades. Aside from his personal projects, Luc has toured extensively across Canada - from the (red) sandy beaches of Prince Edward island, to the (not-so-red) sandy beaches of British Columbia's Vancouver Island.

With a passion for film, design, and visual arts, Luc has since turned his attention to the screen. Skilled in orchestral programming, sound design, sampling, and the blending of acoustic instruments, he aims to create music that adds emotional authenticity to an array of visual experiences.
